Wargaming.net(the developers of WoT) has bought the Day 1 Studios, this way leading to speculations about creating some of its games on other gaming consoles than PC.

They bought the F.E.A.R. 3 developer for whooping amount of $20 millions to work “exclusively on the development of an unannounced console title”.

The Wargaming CEO Victor Kislyi said in an interview:

[quote style="1"]The move into console game development is a huge step for Wargaming, as we begin to expand our presence into new platforms. We are looking forward to sharing the fruits of our labour soon.[/quote]

World of Tanks recently reported that they have over 45 millions of registered players and last October over 500,000 concurrent players were playing on one server in Russia.
